Driving Roads...
Throughout the rally, you will experience the thrill of some of the "greatest driving roads in Europe", as described by BBC's Top Gear.
Gotthard Pass
The Gotthard Pass is 6,935ft high and joins northern Switzerland to Italy and the south. It cuts through the landscape in jaw-dropping fashion, with many hairpins and challenging ascents and descents.
Gotthard Tunnel
This tunnel is nine miles of pure screaming exhaust noise. It is the third longest tunnel in the world and links the two Swiss Cantons: Uri to the north and Ticino to the south.
San Bernardino Pass
They call this road 'the one you have to drive before you die'. The reason? The 18 hairpin bends that climb a gradient of over 9%. The views are to die for, too. The Hinterrhein and Mesolcina Valleys will play out beneath you, while peaks rising to over 9,900ft spread out ahead.
Furka Pass
The Furka Pass was featured in the James Bond film Goldfinger and you'll get to try out its sweeping bends, tight hairpins and intense gradients. This very high mountain pass across the Swiss Alps, which connects Gletsch with Realp and Uri, is described as an addictive driving experience.
Klaussen Pass
The Klaussen Pass is another high mountain pass across the Swiss Alps, this time linking the Cantons of Uri and Glarus. Motorcyclists and motoring enthusiasts adore this road - it will test you, and your car, to the limits.
Col de Turini
The Col de Turini is a high mountain pass in the French Alps, famous for being a stage on the Monte Carlo rally. It has many hairpin turns and demanding corners and is a particular favourite for the BBC's Top Gear team.
Bei St. Stefano Roero
